Our History and Partners:

Executive HR Consulting started as a specialized recruiting firm in 2006, focused on finding talent in the retail and wholesale divisions of the banking industry. In 2008, we expanded our focus to include recruiting attorneys for top-tiered law firms. Though our company is relatively new, our experienced senior recruiters bring nearly a decade of prior legal and financial recruiting expertise to bear, diligently striving to provide some of the highest quality search available in the industry.

Prior to starting the firm, Managing Director, William Norman spent six years recruiting for executive and legal search firms. Prior to that he managed his father’s law firm and worked as an executive producer and screenwriter for a prominent Chicago film & television production company. William holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and a law degree (J.D.) from Southern Illinois University. He is passionate about recruiting and derives great joy when he accomplishes that “perfect placement”.

Wyndolyn Smith, Director of Business Development, offers a highly unique and diverse professional background. Prior to joining Executive HR Consulting, Wyndolyn worked in the Illinois House of Representatives as a Legislative Liaison, interacting and counseling with some of the state’s most prominent legislators, attorneys and decision-makers. After her experience in the House of Representatives, Wyndolyn went on to become a highly skilled and savvy lobbyist who diligently advocated the cause of the elderly and disenfranchised. Her sharp wit, natural sales ability and deep understanding of the legal and financial industries made recruiting a next logical step for her. Wyndolyn holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois (Springfield) and loves when she can bring clients and candidates together for an ideal “meeting of the minds”.
